Müge Altay
International Development and Production Manager
Müge Altay is an international development manager and consultant specializing in cultural projects with a social impact. Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, she has a background in Political Science and International Relations and holds a master’s degree in Arts and Media Management from Bocconi University in Italy. Müge began her career in communications and editorial development, working with various performing arts and media companies in Turkey, Italy, and France.
Previously, she was the Head of Funding Programmes at FEDORA – The European Philanthropists of Opera and Ballet, a philanthropic network supporting emerging artists in opera and dance. During her four years there, she worked in communications, European Commission funding, and operational management.
Currently, Müge is the European Projects and Conferences Manager at RESEO – The European Network for Opera, Music, and Dance Education, an international performing arts network based in Belgium that organizes conferences, workshops, and trainings for industry professionals to share insights and best practices.
Among others she collaborated with Opera Europa, IMZ – International Music + Media Centre, Warsaw Bauhaus Foundation, and IETM - International network for contemporary performing arts.
A performing arts and literature enthusiast, Müge recently joined Kaimera Productions in Paris as International Development and Production Manager, where she is responsible for developing the company’s international growth.
