Browse our video library on YouTube to find a collection of video experiments produced as part of an effort to push SPACES beyond the boundaries of live performance and to continue to use the arts to elevate the personal stories of those who may otherwise not be heard. Expanding SPACES in this way allows us to give a life to the contributions storytellers and artists share after the live performance ends, and to add the stories of many others we meet as we work around the world. The first series of video experiments produced for this initiative is composed of story and movement 'duets' created through the collaboration of storytellers and artists in four cities across the globe: Bangalore (India), Istanbul (Turkey), Saint-Denis (France), and Oakland (USA). We continue to add to this library as we connect with new storytellers and artists across the globe.
This project was done in partnership with the Institut Français and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
