In response to the Russia-Ukraine war* and to so many other conflicts around the world that continue to cause the forced migration of tens of millions without reaching our news feeds, an additional scholarship will be offered specifically to artist refugees to attend the Kaimera Lab 2022.

In addition, this year’s Lab will focus on displacement as the central theme that the participating artists will tackle when creating original material.
